Looking for somewhere to celebrate a birthday in Prague? The lower floor of The Place is yours for the whole evening — its own bar, karaoke, a dance floor and games. Our team speaks English, and you do not need to live in Czechia to book.

Two floors

One night to remember.

You will find The Place on Kamenická street in Prague 7, between Holešovice and Letná — the Kamenická tram stop is right outside the door, about ten minutes from the city centre. Upstairs, a classic cocktail bar for a relaxed drink or a quieter evening with friends.

Downstairs, the entire lower floor is made for birthday parties, hen and stag nights and company events. It has its own bar counter, its own facilities and a dance floor. While your event runs, no other guests come down — the floor is yours alone.

Dcera zde slavila 18. narozeniny (cca 25 lidí) a vše proběhlo na jedničku. Skvělá komunikace a ochotný personál, se vším nám vyšli vstříc. Spodní část baru je opravdu ideální na soukromou oslavu, má vlastní zázemí, bar, taneční parket, beerpong, šipky i karaoke. Určitě to není poslední oslava v tomto baru. Ještě jednou moc děkujeme Leošovi a kolegovi barmanovi;)

Měli jsme zde soukromou oslavu a všechno bylo naprosto skvělé! Privátní prostor v -1 patře se samostatným barem, možností pustit si vlastní hudbu a dokonce i karaoke. Personál byl velmi milý, ochotný a ve všem nám vyšel vstříc. Skvělá atmosféra, příjemné prostředí a k dispozici je i zahrádka. Moc doporučujeme na oslavy nebo setkání s přáteli!

V pátek jsem tu slavila narozeniny s větší skupinou a musím říct, že jsme byli maximálně spokojení. Barmani byli skvělí – milí, vstřícní a po celou dobu se o nás perfektně starali. Super atmosféra, příjemné prostředí a hlavně úžasny, bezkonkurenční personál (Leoš a Dan) milí, ochotní a rychlí, i když bylo plno🔥 Drinkům nemám co vytknout, všechno výborné a krásně udělané. To start with, the bartenders were truly kind and helpful, they were attentive and helpful for each query we had and that made the whole event very smooth! The Place is a cocktail bar at Kamenická 655/54 in Prague 7, between Holešovice and Letná. You can book the lower floor as a private space just for your celebration — it has its own bar counter, a dance floor, karaoke, darts, foosball and beer pong. It fits 20–50 guests and there is no fee to rent it.
Yes. Everyone on our team speaks English, so you can plan the whole evening, order at the bar and settle the bill in English. No Czech needed at any point.
There is no room-hire fee. The only thing we ask for is a refundable deposit of 10,000 CZK (roughly 400 EUR), which guarantees a minimum spend at the bar.
It is up to you. We can either return the deposit in full and you settle your bar bill separately, or put it towards what you drink on the night — whichever the birthday person prefers. If your bar spend ends up below 10,000 CZK, we keep only the difference. So the deposit is a guaranteed minimum spend, not an extra charge on top.
Yes. You can pay the deposit and your bar bill by card (including foreign cards), by bank transfer or in cash. If a transfer suits you better, we will send you the details.
Yes, with no difference in how we handle it. Tourists, expats and visiting groups book with us the same way as anyone else — an e-mail address is enough to arrange everything.
Booking the lower bar is worthwhile for celebrations and events of 20–50 people. For 50–80 guests or hiring the whole venue, get in touch — we will arrange it individually.
Yes. The lower floor has its own bar counter and its own facilities. While your event runs, the bar's other guests do not come down — the whole floor belongs to you and your guests.
Yes. There is karaoke on the lower floor, so you can sing right at your own bar. Alongside it you will find a dance floor, darts, foosball and beer pong.
Both. On the lower floor you can put on your own playlist, or we will arrange a DJ for the evening. Just tell us in the enquiry what you have in mind.
Yes. We prepare drink and food menus tailored to your wishes by arrangement.

Kamenická 655/54, Praha 7 – Letná, 170 00. The nearest tram stop is Kamenická, right outside the door — take tram 1, 8, 15 or 25. Coming by metro, take line C to Florenc and change to the tram. We are open Tuesday to Saturday, 18:00 to 02:00.
