Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains what personal data The Place collects through this website, what we use it for, and what rights you have. The data controller is The Place, Kamenická 655/54, Praha 7 – Letná, 170 00, Czech Republic.

What we collect

Table reservations: name, contact details, date and time — processed by the DISH reservation system. Private event enquiries: name, e-mail, phone, guest count and message. B-Day Club: first name, last name, birth day and month, and e-mail.

Why we process it

To handle your reservation or private-event enquiry and communicate with you about it. For the B-Day Club: to send you a birthday offer (a free drink) during your birthday week and occasional news about the bar.

Legal basis

Reservations and enquiries are processed to fulfil your request. The B-Day Club is processed on the basis of your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Retention

B-Day Club data is kept until you withdraw consent, or for a maximum of 3 years since your last interaction. Enquiries and reservations are kept for as long as needed to handle them and any follow-up communication.

Who has access

Your data is processed by us and by the services that run this website: DISH (reservations), Web3Forms (enquiries), Google Sheets (B-Day Club), Cloudflare (hosting), Google (embedded map, only after your consent; plus Google Analytics for traffic measurement and a Google Ads tag for our own Google ads — both active at all times, see below) and Meta (Pixel, for our own Facebook/Instagram ads — also active at all times). We do not sell or share your data for third-party marketing.

Cookies and browser storage

Three measurement tools are active on this site on every visit, regardless of your choice below: Google Analytics (GA4, ID G-XD8FFBQTL3), which tracks traffic — how many people arrive, where from, and which pages they view; the Meta Pixel, which we use to measure and target our own Facebook/Instagram ads; and a Google Ads tag (AW-18002370795), which measures conversions from our own Google ads. Google Analytics sets “_ga” and “_ga_*” cookies holding a random browser identifier; we do not send it your name, e-mail or phone. The Google Ads tag sets “_gcl_au” and similar cookies and sends Google data about your visit and the pages you viewed; Google processes it as an independent controller under its own policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and may transfer it outside the EU. The Meta Pixel sets a “_fbp” cookie and sends Meta data about your visit (page views, clicking the phone/e-mail contact links, submitting the enquiry form on /oslavy), without your name, e-mail or phone. Meta processes this data as an independent controller under its own policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy) and may transfer it outside the EU. Besides these three tools, without consent we store only what the site needs to work: your chosen language, the fact that you've already seen the B-Day Club offer, and your cookie choice below. Only after you consent does the embedded Google map additionally load (which sends your IP address to Google). The DISH booking form loads only when you open the reservation yourself. You can change your choice about the map at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict the processing of, and port your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at the e-mail below to exercise these rights. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).
